Honor Appleton

Honor Appleton started her illustrating career as a student of the Royal Academy Schools and she went on to develop a very delicate watercolour style that captured the innocent world of children, their adventures and life. She was influenced by contemporary illustrators such as Arthur Rackham, Heath Robinson, Kate Greenaway and Annie French, going on to illustrate over a hundred and fifty books.
